Summer Solstice

Happy Summer Solstice friends.

Summer Solstice represents “the transition from action to nourishment, which is exactly what the sun gives us during the long nights of summer in our actual crops but also to the continual journey we travel from darkness to light”.

I love that line “we travel from darkness to light.” It feels hopeful and exciting.

What new things will we discover in this new light? Maybe a friend, new opportunity, or hobby?

Summer Solstice feels like the perfect time to reflect on the simple things in nature. A time to appreciate the new growth on the trees, budding flowers in the garden, and the sweet smells of the evening air.

Maybe you find yourself sitting around a bon fire processing the day with family and friends. Or, sitting by yourself for some personal reflection. Reassessing your goals. What have you added into your life that has brought you joy? What have you added that you might do better letting go of?
